One of the farms that I visited the most, like most of the brazilian breeders that traveled to the US 20 years ago, was Rohara Arabians. Located in Ocala, Florida, Rohara was home to the exotic Ivanhoe Tsultan and his offspring. The most famous of them was Rohara Tsultress, named 1981 US National Champion Mare ( x Emenee by Aramus ). She was a real vision of beauty. I was lucky enough to see her during the late 80’s among other notable offspring by Tsultan, including a full sister to her called Roraha Statuesque and national performance Champion named Tshannon, who is still alive ( she was alive last year at least). Rohara is a beautiful farm, and its owner, Roxxan Hart is a great breeder with a great eye to find outstanding horses. Rohara’s longtime trainer is John Rannenberg, an acclaimed trainer in halter and performance in the US and abroad. I came back to Rohara a few times after that, one of which I had the chance to meet the US National Champion Mare Aalusive Bey ( also the first Supreme Scottsdale Champion to win the tittle as a 2 year old). Her half sister, reserve national futurity Champion A Lyrica was also there, later on she was imported to Brazil, and I owned one of her daughters with Encore Ali. Lately Rohara has been the home to the famous El Nabila B, who stood in Brazil for a long time.
